Dead Space (2023) is a ground-up remake of the 2007 survival horror classic.
As the Lead Technical Artist on the project, I was responsible for guiding the art pipelines, and pushing the rendering fidelity. We did a lot of work on the environment materials, lighting systems, and VFX workflows, some of which you can see detailed in the videos below.
It was an exciting project to be a part of, and we were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to be very open with our development process.
